Maher is an analytics leader who is passionate about transforming organizations through the use of data, science and technology. He has more than 15 years experience in Technology and Commerce developing analytics, machine learning and causal inference capabilities at some of the most complex US organizations such as IBM, Target, Walmart and Google. His career has been a constant evolution from his early days using Operations Research to solve supply chain problems and building statistical models to optimize pricing models, to leveraging deep learning to  . Most recently, he led data science teams at Google Ads business with the mission to improve customer experience and boost business growth. In this capacity, he is leading the development of Recommendation engines and an Experimentation platform to improve the effectiveness of sellers and marketers. Maher graduated from the CTO program at the Wharton School University, holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Minnesota and served as faculty at the University of Houston. Outside work, he provides consulting services for seed A and B startups, mentors technology professionals, and advocates for the use of ML/AI and science in decision making.
